Rust City Laws

This server was designed for people to relax and have a break from the regular Rust grind. Relax and enjoy yourself. There will be more socialization here, so if you find yourself irritated with someone, just walk away or mute them if you have nothing in common. Dont argue and fight and cause drama.

Laws in Rust City:

Rust City has a different set of laws than many uncivilized Rust servers. Please read and understand the laws carefully as you can use them to get ahead or break them and lose it all.

Within the 5x5 block area of the city, violence is strictly NOT allowed. This is a place of civility. However, when you leave the city, its like normal Rust.
If someone attacks you, you are able to defend yourself at all costs. Please ping the police and stay at the scene during investigation and you will be able to keep the loot if self-defense is proven.

It is important to understand the city limits

The city limts are from F5 to K5 on the map, down to F8 over to K8. On the map. Another way to visualize it is to look at the Map. The city is the dirt area in the center.

Murder, Violence, Robbery, Drugs and Traffic Infractions

• Murder - When you kill another player without them having hurt you or committed a crime against you. This is punishable by 15min-12 hours in jail, depending on the severity of the crime. Factors include (why did you kill them, # of previous murders, did you rob them, did they attack you
• Violence - When you attack someone or hit them without being hit first, even if on accident.
• Robbery - When you steal dropped items, from boxes or downed/dead players.
• Drugs - When you grow, buy or sell drugs. (SOON TO COME)
• Traffic - Is when you drive wrecklessly or hit people or vehicles with your car.
Police may pull you over and either issue you a ticket or take you to jail. 3+ unpaid tickets will result in jail time.
